The Father Stayed Home

This lesson uses the parable of the prodigal son to encourage parents of wandering children to combine trusting love, tough love, and welcoming love. The main point is that parents cannot force faith on their children.  Sometimes we must allow children to feel the consequences of their choices.  But yet we can and should keep the door open for genuine repentance and restoration.
